Deadloch | Now calling for EOIs!

Expressions of Interest are now open for Tasmanian residents for attachment positions on the brand-new comedy drama Deadloch, to be filmed exclusively in Tasmania.

Deadloch is a new 8 x 1hr Australian original comedy series written by ‘The Kates’ (Kate McCartney and Kate McLennan) and produced by Guesswork Television, OK Great Productions and Amazon Studios to be shot on location in Tasmania.

About the show: The Tasmanian town of Deadloch, a once sleepy seaside hamlet, is left reeling when a local man turns up dead on the beach. Two female detectives are thrown together to solve the case, uptight local Senior Sergeant Dulcie Collins and a rough as guts blow in from Darwin, Senior Investigator Eddie Redcliffe. ‘The Kates’ latest creation is a feminist noir comedy set against a bucolic backdrop with a rising body count.

The attachments are double the usual length, each lasting for eight weeks, one in each of in the following departments:

  • Art Department
  • Camera Department
  • Grips Department
  • Lighting Department
  • Sound Department.

The attachments will be undertaken for an eight week period between 28 February and 24 May 2022, and December 2021 through to March 2022. Applicants will be required to work full time.
